Visiting Koh Dach this weekend
Koh Dach is about 15 Km from Phnom Penh and home of silk weaving. I cycled to this island last week and felt very impressed with natural and cultural resources. With that impression,I and my family will visit this potential island this weekend by motorbike. We think that this transport can be flexible in all kind of road.
Our exursion will start at 7AM and have breakfast on the way then take the ferry to Koh Dach directly. We hope to arrive Koh Dach resort at around 11AM and it is time for lunch.
Chicken is only available food for visitors. Fish and other besides this are not sold there. Anyway, chicken is cost around 12USD and served with rice. Hut is cluded in this package. If anyone bring food from home, hut is rent 5000riel per day. Drinking water is 1000 riel.... We plan to relax on the hut elevated the Mekong River and relax with fresh air. What we will not missed is to swim with my daughter and teach her swimming. Hope everythign is well prepared as plan. I will report my trip after coming back from the island.
